Goals of the IRRF

  • To improve the knowledge base, and quality of scientific data related to the usage of the stereotactic radio surgery through the conduct of high quality research and education.
  • To evaluate new indications for the use of stereotactic radiosurgery in the context of clinical research.
  • To test new treatment indications for rare or less common clinical usages of radiosurgery including its role in tumor management, vascular malformation management, pain, movement disorders, and epilepsy.
  • To utilize the best research strategies to identify patient selection and outcome factors in order to modify or improve treatment outcomes for patients undergoing stereotactic radiosurgery.

Mission Statement

To perform research, provide education, and publish information related to stereotactic radiosurgery for the purpose of improving public health.
